Fair, Transparent Terms

1. Acceptable Use

CostVela is designed for professional financial modeling and forecasting. You agree to use the platform in compliance with applicable laws and industry regulations.

Permitted Uses

• Financial Planning: Create models for clients, proposals, and internal analysis.
• Content Sharing: Publish models publicly or share via secure links with clients.
• Commercial Use: Offer modeling services to your customers using our platform.

Prohibited Uses

• Reverse Engineering: Attempting to extract our computational engine or DSL interpreter code.
• Reselling Platform Access: You may charge for your consulting services, but not for raw platform access.
• Malicious Activity: Spamming, scripting attacks, or overwhelming our API with excessive requests.

2. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain full ownership of all models, formulas, and data you create in CostVela. We claim no rights to your intellectual property.

Our Platform: The CostVela software, UI components, calculation engine, and branding remain our property. You receive a non-exclusive license to use them per your subscription tier.

3. Payment & Subscriptions

Paid plans are billed monthly or annually. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. No partial refunds unless required by law or at our discretion in cases of service failure.

4. Limitation of Liability

CostVela provides computational tools, not financial advice. We are not liable for decisions made based on model outputs. You are responsible for verifying results and complying with fiduciary duties.

5. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend accounts for violations of these terms. You may cancel at any time. Upon termination, you will be able to export your model data for 30 days before deletion.
